Professional Partnerships

One of the biggest hindrances to incorporating Guided Inquiry in the classroom is TIME.

A solution to this is that School District 71 recognizes the importance and advantages of teachers working together by providing financial support to approved projects. This financial support can be put towards substitute teacher costs (plan for $250 a day/ per teacher) and other costs.

The district believes that: Teams of practitioners working together with a focus on student achievement and instructional practices have the power to transform cultures and communities.
